Artist's Comments
ClosEncounters is a webcomic, originally made in Japanese around 2000-2002, by Tsuteru Shiba that is now being released in English that you simply should not miss. I recently discovered said comic, through his deviantart page, and quickly fell in love with its oldschool charm in both style and presentation. After reading the first two books (chapters 1-4), I felt like I wanted to draw something (and so I did). This is, composition wise, one of the most convoluted pictures I've ever done.
Just remember, if you live in an anime type world, trying to somehow order a perfect girlfriend can only end in much pain and whacky hijinks!
