This might be, if they choose to accept it, the mascot for an upcoming new anime convention in Ohio (well, not entirely new... it would be the second year) called Anime Punch ( [link] ). Lucky me, the people running it were at my dorm and I just happened to walk by as they were commenting on how they should find the artist who did some art on the wall (my art). I hope this goes over well.
What's done right: The facial expression. I love that emotion! A pure fighting spirit. Also, the pose is nicely done, though in TKD, it might leave her open for an attack. And the movement of the clothes and hair is a VERY nice touch.
What needs work: The arms are a bit long, my friend. Her left arm should be just a titch closer to her body, and the foot - the left one, should point out only a little more. Hm.... Oh, the neck deary. Where it connects to the head... it begins to become too thin.
All minor errors that can be fixed with a little erasing ^_^
However, this is the point where I thank God that I got this far without destroying it all along the way, and never touch the pencil work again. Putting these in scraps has always been misleading to some, but I don't put the uncolored pencils works in my main gallery. Comments will be kept in mind for future images.
Some specific rejoinders, though:
1) The pose is not based on Tai-Kwon-Do, but is based on real stances (but both hands should be open for what I'm basing it on).
2) The arm coming towads the camera is supposed to be exaggerated for effect, but I didn't make the hand larger than the other one.
3) I can't draw feet.

Please read Work-Study; it's a tale of Stigmata Holes, Squirrel Armies, Megalomanical Art Teachers, Elite Booze Agents, and MORE!
2. I'm not editting it and have already stated that, at least not any edits that I can't apply in the digital inking phase (and there will be some of those).
3. I am trying, but feet are weird and quite confounding.

We want to know what love means to you!
Get your creative juices flowing and design a movie poster for "Paper Heart" that focuses on the theme "What Does Love Mean to Me?".
The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
