This was my proposal for the mascot for Anime Punch '06 (the second year of the convention). This was rejected and instead they went with this: [link] (my submission was cited as too goofy and not edgy gritty enough, and I'm very confused). Anyways, I really like this image myself and was glas I made it despite the fact it isn't being used. As always, I did the image entirely in Flash like all of my other images.

Entirely in Flash! I tried to make images with Flash and have a lots of problem connecting lines (even if they look like they touch each other, color fill still goes over them or doesn't work).

It is a very fun, neat and colorful piece you have here. I fav this one.
basically, I like yours a whole lot more.

in fact, great job! It just looks all around great! and also pretty darn alive (which you supposedly have trouble with sometimes? XDDD) Anyway, sometimes its actually your backgrounds that look stiff (um, geometrical?), not the drawings! But this one looks great.

If you turn on the magnet, which shouuld be in the tool bar on the left (it will appear when you select the black arrow, I believe), then lines will snap together when you get them close enough. Alternatively, you can set the flood fill option automatically assume that lines really close together are closed with the close gaps option. Actually, pretty much all of my works except for the comic Work-Study are done completely in Flash. As I've said before, I'm more than willing to give people plenty of advice on using Flash if they contact me on ICQ (which works with AIM also).

Oh yes, thanks for the favorite.

That tends to be because all of my backgrounds are drawn without reference within flash itself using the straight line tool predominantly and it's very easy to forget that an actual perspective isn't actually isometric (the perfectly straight lines don't exactly help much either). Of course, there's also the fact that it's really easy to not make an interesting background.

I think there's an echo in here.

The magnet! Thank you so much for the info!
